Our Funders

The work of the Halifax Initiative Coalition would not be possible without our funders. We gratefully acknowledge the on-going and generous support of the following:

  • Charles Stewart Mott Foundation
  • International Development Research Centre
  • UN Millennium Campaign
  • Sigrid Rausing Trust
  • Rights & Democracy
  • Development and Peace
  • Canadian Council for International Cooperation
  • All of our members also contribute an annual membership fee of at least $200

The following is a list of the grants the Halifax Initiative has received for both core work and special projects. Many of the grants cover one year or two, but few of the reporting periods correspond with an actual calendar year. Contributions are therefore reported according to the year in which they were made/received. This list does not include contributions of less than $1000.
